History
Kindermusik highlights NEWSFLASH: At the time of writing this, Rylee was about to turn 14 months old. He has been doing kindermusik with Darashni, his mommy since he was 2 month's old. Darashni has been very instrumental in his development, particularly in doing the home activities and using her home materials and she has noted the following phenomenal develoment. "Every morning from the age of 3 months he listens to his kindermusik cd and gets all excited by the mere sound of the hello song. He moves his body and tries to hum along. From the age of nine months Rylee has been 'successful' on the toilet which is every mothers dream. He started to walk the day after his first birthday. I find that he is on high alert when he hears any sound from the dog to the door opening or a car pulling into the driveway. Kindermusik has really simulated him. " Well done Rylee :-) ______________________________________________________________________________________ Jared Fairweather is the youngest in his class, but his vocabulary has impressed his teacher. I put this down to his mom's devotion to his development and to the Kindermusik program, which inludes vocal play, story time and sign language to help language development. Well done! One of our Kindermusik mommys, Lizelle, has become a Kindermusik Educator! Congratulations. We are so proud of you...! Little Kyla took her very first steps and landed in my arms with the broadest smile you have ever seen! We didn't have a camera to capture the moment, but we'll get a picture of you yet :-) Well done! To see Jared's Graduation, click here. Chloe's milestone can bee seen here.
Earlier Milestones Baby Jared's language development astounded us all. He runs around the studio excitedly looking at pictures on the walls and bouncing on the large balls. All very good developmentally, the first for language development, visual tracking and love of literacy and the latter for gross-motor development. At only 17 months, he started singing in duple and triple meter! Little Cheyenne, has begun to display lots of Impromtu dancing, especially when there is rhyrhmic music on TV at home. She also enjoys twirling to music. I am amazed at how good her focus and concentration is. Kevin has completely relaxed since his first Kindermusik class in Nov 07. When he started, he was recovering from what appeared to be a previous traumatic experience. Now he is quite content, as long as he has his special chair and carpet. He is a sweetie pie. Recently he has moved away from his comfort carpet and right into the Kindermusik circle! Well done "mom and dad" for perservering. Last week, he sat right next to me! With mom close by of course. Little Anette has simply exploded out of her shell and is turning out to be a very confident and happy little girl. She is now quite happy to be in a room with other children and socialises much easier than before. Well done. Baby Joshua absolutely loves swaying and swinging and gets very excited, which is in complete contrast to his very relaxed personality. I love these moments. It is truly wonderful to see a new developmental area arise. Baby Demi loves the blue bears in the "Dosido" book and will focus on whichever pages have the blue bear. Baby Hans is our resident singer! Baby Calum loves to sing, too and he gets very loud when we turn the music off. He wants music and he wants it now :-) Emma, Sherilyn and Cayley absolutely love bouncing to a steady beat on our bouncing balls! Its either that or on their mommys' laps. My three original Village-ers have since all started to walk, and if memory serves me correctly, Joshua took his first step in the studio. They have all sprouted teeth and socialise beautifully with one another. Baby Aston is permanently happy and smiles throughout the class. Baby Kyla laughs when we make Horse sounds and hangs onto her one-bell jingle for dear life!. Baby Abigail is VERY focused. She absorbs absolutely everything. It is wonderful to watch. Baby Mikayla is our resident dancer. You should see her dance! Baby Daniella smiles permanently, too and looks for the direction that sound is coming from; when she finds it, her little eyes look in that particular direction and she listens very intently. Baby Ewald follows an object with his eyes wherever we move it - wonderful! He lasts a full half hour then falls asleep in daddy's arms. Sarah-Jane has grown so much in confidence and is no longer shy. She freely talks to me during the lesson. Little Daniel participates very capably in all the activities and smiles throughout the class. Little Stuart loves "going through the tunnel" and "falling down". Little Catherine has learnt how to crawl "through the tunnel, too" and that can be daunting in the beginning.
I simply LOVE my babies! In the words of Dr Phil "It doesn't get any better than this". I simply LOVE my bigger kids too!
