This is what some of our Kindermusik Kids get up to...!

NEWSFLASH! Chloe has won an achievement award. She is in a dance class two years her senior! Well done!

She's a dancer...!

Meet Chloe. Every week she enters the Kindermusik studio with a smile carrying her pack of home materials. Her next stop - dance class. This little wonder has enough energy to carry her through Family Time and on to hip hop and ballet!

Being a dancer, I understand the importance of absolute marriage between dancer and music. Kindermusik helps her achieve this through audiation - the ability to memorise and hold a tune in her mind to the extent of predicting what comes next. This will help her to memorise her choreography.

She will also use lots of other activities in the Kindermusik class that will help her orientate herself in space and stimulate her vestibular system. An absolute must when dance requires spinning and placing. She also dances in Kindermusik class with scarves which will prepare her for dancing with props or even a partner.Focused listening excercises teach her a valuable life skill - how to listen - crucial in dance. Music and movement are the tools we use in Kindermusik to foster a love of music in her that matches her passion as a dancer.

Chloe, you are a star...!

Beadwork!

What two Kindermusik Kids get
up to in their spare time!

Meet Sarah and Stephen, two Kindermusik Kids. Their creativity,
fine motor skills and focus is such, that they are now producing
beautiful beaded jewelery!

Kindermusik activities such as focused listening, helped to build their concentration and focus. The regular use of instruments helped their fine motor skills to develop to the point where their mother could successfully teach them beadwork. Good job guys!
